Snake Fight

Anyone who knows Jonny knows he likes shoelaces (aka 'snakes'). He takes them where ever he goes and he has different ways of playing with them. I tried to write out exactly how he plays with them and it didn't make sense. . .it is something you just have to witness. Anyway, he is pretty particular about these snakes. He doesn't like anyone to mess them up when they are all lined up or to pick one up to play along. At the reunion this funny little exchange took place.

Jonny has spent quite a bit of time at our house so Tess knows she isn't supposed to touch the snakes. But she likes Jonny's attention. She went up to him but didn't get noticed So she stepped on his snakes then looked back to see if he was looking.
He noticed that and grabbed a handful of snakes from underneath her.
Tessa is strong willed too and she grabbed and pulled too.
When Tess knew she wasn't going to win she gave in, but she got what she wanted. . .a little Jonny attention. She ended it with a sweet hug. She *loves* Uncle Jonny!! Another cute exchange at the reunion that I didn't catch on camera was Jonny holding Tess on his lap and she had her arms around him kissing and kissing and kissing him. It was so sweet and precious. I find it very interesting that this little girl who is very far from cuddly always instigates affection with Jonny. She instinctively knows something is special about him. I find that truly amazing.
